TypeCampus has compiled a list of opportunities and scholarships available in the industry for students of type design and typography

Posterheroes Competition
Posterheroes 15 – Still Human, invites designers and creatives to explore the jagged boundary between delegation and responsibility, automation and choice, efficiency and creativity, generation and creation, norms and transformation. The goal is not to judge technology, but to make its effects and imaginaries visible.

ADCE Awards '26
The ADCE Awards serve as a platform to showcase and celebrate Europe’s best creative work, bringing it from local and national competitions to a European stage for recognition and awards. Starting in 2026, the ADCE Awards welcome all entrants from eligible national competitions, expanding access to the European stage and celebrating creative excellence across the continent.

ADCE Student Awards
Creative student awards provide a platform for aspiring designers, advertisers, and communicators to showcase their work beyond the academic environment. Through industry recognition and international exposure, they help emerging talent take their first steps into the professional creative world.

Type Electives | Co-founded by Lynne Yun & Juan
Type Electives offers courses that go beyond traditional type design education offering a wide range of live online classes focused on letterforms, including type design, lettering, and creative technology. They offer scholarships open to all Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, with priority given to those who have limited resources or access to educational opportunities.

TDC Scholarships
The Type Directors Club, the world’s leading typography organization, has offers three student scholarship programs:
Adé Hogue Scholarship, sponsored by Monotype, in cooperation with the Broderick Adé Hogue Foundation. Beatrice Warde Scholarship, also sponsored by Monotype. TDC Ezhishin Scholarship, sponsored by Google, is new this year, initiated by TDC managing director Ksenya Samarskaya.

The Malee Scholarship | By Sharp Type
The Malee Scholarship has a mission to advance and empower women who are part of underrepresented racial and ethnic groups in the type design field. This partnership provides financial assistance, creative mentorship, and professional guidance to support a new generation of designers.
