At the helm and creative core of OFFF MX — Mexico’s leading festival for creatives, designers, and digital visionaries — are Josué Ibañez, Creative Director of OFFF MX and Juan Carlos Méndez Sepúlveda, Communications Director at OFFF MX.
Supporting them is Mariana Barrón Rubio, cultural manager and PR strategist. Together they shape a festival that bridges local talent with the world’s most innovative studios. Today, they bring their expertise to shaping OFFF MX, one of Latin America’s most influential creative festivals.
What is OFFF MX and what makes it unique?
OFFF MX is the meeting point for creatives, designers, digital artists, and technologists in Mexico. For nine years, we’ve brought the energy of Barcelona’s OFFF to Mexico City, creating a space where local and global voices meet to imagine the future of visual culture. It’s not just a festival — it’s where ideas, talent, and technology merge to inspire and transform.
What can we expect from the 2025 edition?
Two exciting days — August 28 and 29 at the Auditorio Blackberry — packed with talks, workshops, networking, and immersive installations. The program ranges from motion design and generative art to forward-thinking projects in creative AI. We’ll feature world-class studios and artists like Six N. Five, XK Studio, Woodblock, Zipeng Zhu, and Mela Pabón, alongside incredible Hispanic talent such as Long Summer Days, Guillermo Flores, and Pupila. Visitors can also experience digital art installations from Mexican studios Oculta Studio, Wemake, and Medusa Lab in the venue’s main lobby.
How would you describe the experience for attendees?
Inspiring and transformative. OFFF MX 2025 will be the epicenter where design, technology, and disruptive ideas converge. Every talk, workshop, and installation is designed to spark creativity and open new perspectives. It’s where you don’t just witness the future of creativity — you help shape it.
